Edwards Dunlop Paper services its customers anywhere in Australia from one of five modern distribution centres in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
Total storage space in excess of 40,000 square metres can accommodate over 85,000 pallets at any one time.
A staff of 140 handles over 100,000 metric tonnes of product per annum. What makes this possible is sophisticated distribution software that includes:
- Electronic data interchange (EDI) with key customers and suppliers
- Online ordering through the internet
- Full Scan Pack capability
- Total pallet control and tracking
- Radio frequency order picking
- A fleet of 80 forklifts
- Distribution by 40 trucks ranging in size from one tonne (for those awkward sites) to 24 tonne semi-trailers
Our ability to offer direct to pick EDI and online ordering coupled with full Scan Pack picking is a key feature that attracts many customers and suppliers but for those that don't need these facilities our team of 30 customer service representatives is on hand to provide that human touch.
